I’m a big time fan of Isagenix products and have been an Isagenix “consultant” for some time now. Their products are great and when used properly, they can seriously contribute to a healthier lifestyle.

Here’s my story on how Isagenix has helped me with my own health and physique!

The short version of my story: I lost 15.6 pounds and 3.9 percentage points of body fat in 21 weeks using Isagenix products and weekly cleansing.

The long version of my story: January 1, 2019 started with me realizing that I needed to lose some body fat (BF) along with a few pounds. At 58 years old, six feet tall, 211 pounds and 18.6% BF, I was not obese, but knew that I could (and should) look and feel better. So, I started a new exercise plan, basically a combination of many difficult and intense workouts that I had completed in the past. I created a six-month workout plan which consisted of four to six workouts per week. I was also going to “watch” what I eat.

So again, starting at 211 lbs. and 18.6% BF, seven weeks later, I was down to 210.6 lbs. and 18.2% BF. I had lost an impressive 0.04 lbs. and reduced my BF by 0.04%! Seven weeks of exercise and that was all I had to show for my efforts! The results were not very impressive and were extremely disappointing.

It was at this point where I knew that I would need to do something dramatically different if I was going to lose BF at a much quicker rate.

This is where nutritional cleansing with Isagenix came in. I have been using Isagenix products for almost 5 years but had never really utilized a long term cleansing plan until now!

So here’s my new plan. It’s simple and easy to follow.

  1. Set goals
  2. Cleanse weekly
  3. Track calories
  4. Keep exercising

In February, I set a goal of reaching 193 lbs. with 12% BF, by June 1st, 2019.

I used Isagenix Cleanse for Life for BF loss. Every Wednesday was – and now is – a cleanse day!

I keep track of my calories eaten, I don’t just “watch” what I eat, and I am never starving!

I’m still doing the same exercise plan that I started with in January 2019, which consists mainly of resistance training, with my main goals being hypertrophy and cardiovascular improvement. I do not run for hours on a treadmill!

Here are my results with Isagenix nutritional cleansing:
Jan 01, 2019……….211.0 lbs. and 18.6% BF
Feb 12, 2019……….210.6 lbs. and 18.2% BF
Feb 13, 2019……….209.0 lbs. and 17.9% BF, 1st weekly cleanse
Jul 04, 2019……….195.4 lbs. and 14.7% BF, 21st weekly cleanse

This equals 15.6 pounds lost and 3.9 percentage points of BF lost. However, going from 18.6% BF to 14.7% BF is actually a 20.97% loss of BF. The best news is that this happened within 21 weeks, with very little extra effort and no starvation.

While I didn’t reach my goal in the time frame that I set, I feel that I made great progress. I’m going to continue using Isagenix products in addition to following my weekly cleansing and fitness plan, knowing that I’ll attain my goals within a few more months!
