I have been involved with many different forms of fitness training techniques (i.e., bodybuilding, power lifting, sports training, martial arts, etc.) since the mid 1970’s.

In 2006, I started training with P90X and fell in love with the program and its training concepts. I continued training through P90X2 and P90X3. I decided to take the next step in 2013 and became a P90X Certified Instructor and a member of the P90X Pro Team. I also became a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) in 2014, which has greatly increased my knowledge of health and fitness.

Scott Lathrop Fitness is my online personal training platform that I created to train people with a desire to increase their overall health and fitness. There are no boring treadmills, bikes, or ellipticals used here! High intensity interval training, along with bodyweight exercises and dumbbell resistance training concepts, are used. My routines are fast paced, energetic, and exciting to prevent my customers from the same old dull routines that so many people are accustomed to.

However, do not be intimidated by “high intensity” and P90X, as all exercises can be modified or adjusted to any individuals current fitness level and abilities. Emphasis is placed upon decreasing body fat percentage, increasing muscle size, strength, and endurance, cardiorespiratory fitness, and general athleticism.
